| Our hand carved log bear beds are made in traditional spindle design - from lodge pole pine from the mountains of Colorado. There are 2 hand carved bears in each headboard post and 1 hand carved bear in each footboard post. Each bear is heated to give it its color and the lodge pole pine is sealed with a waterbased polyutethane for years of protection. The bed is assembled using mortise and tenon joinery that provides a solid and secure feeling when you climb in. Bed dimensions are approximately 86 long x 43" wide x 60" high headboard, 36" high footboard. The bed posts are made with 5" - 6" logs. |
