Kerry¿s Candles are handcrafted with real lodgepole pine trees that were cut for clearing purposes in Boulder County, Colorado by an independent contractor for the National Forest Service. No trees have been cut for the sole purpose of making this product.
The tree is first cut into sections and heated to a temperature to eliminate any pests in the wood. A core is drilled out of the center of each log and a fire retardant is applied to the interior core. A beeswax filled acrylic tealight with an all natural wick is placed in the core.
The log is finished with a polyurethane coating to protect the natural bark, a raffia bow holding a label, and burning instructions. Velvet feet are affixed to the bottom of the wood to prevent scratching your surface.
After the candle has burned, simply pop out the entire tealight including the container and replace with a fresh tealight of your choice. |
